To complete the project, you need to identify TEN computer and/or non-computer interface designs that are problematic. For example, you might identify a radio with four buttons which have no labeling. Three of the buttons are used to preset stations, but the fourth is used to erase the preset stations. This is a problematic design you can read about in Norman's book.
For each of the ten problematic designs you need to supply the following written information:
A general description of the design.
A very specific description of "Why the design is problematic".
A recommendation of how you might redesign the interface so it is not problematic.
Make sure you are very specific as you describe how the new design would be better and why. You will want to reference Norman or others as a support as to why the new design would be better. Please double space your project using 12 point font and submitting in PDF format. Each of the 10 designs should be approximately one page (or more) in length. Please note: No graphic representations are required for this project, but can be included to help get your point across. Also, please do not use the same examples that Norman references in his book.
